Prince Sultan Cardiac Center

What has been witnessed and achieved in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields of progress and development, especially in medicine, is no doubt considered as a marvelous cultural jump, rarely seen in today's world.

Prince Sultan Cardiac Center is considered a unique model matching the most advanced cardiac centers in developed countries in this specialization.

In keeping pace with constant developments in the field, Prince Sultan Cardiac Center is committed to providing the best integrated cardiology and cardiac surgery services, through highly qualified Saudi professionals under the continuous follow up and direct support of H.R.H. Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, 1st Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who saves no effort in the service of citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is evident that the establishment of PSCC is a true translation of the Saudi leadership effort to provide convenience for citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. Cardiac services previously provided by the Riyadh Armed Forces Hospital was eventually crowned by the decree of H.R.H., the Crown Prince, 1st Deputy Premier Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General No. 4228, dated 24/11/1412(H), provided for the establishing of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center to act as a specialized and independent center to provide complete therapeutic and preventive cardiac medical services to all Saudi Armed Forces personnel and their dependants and other patients eligible for treatment.

Since its inauguration on September 11, 1996 by Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, 1st Deputy Premier and the Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, PSCC has realized marvelous achievements at international level in the quality of services provided and medical advancements.

PSCC is committed to providing comprehensive cardiovascular services to all armed forces personnel and other eligible patients, training of Saudi personnel in healthcare specialties related to cardiology and cardiac surgery and to promote and pursue scientific research into cardiovascular disease.

The PSCC Directorate, which was formed upon the establishment of the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center, embarked upon assuming its responsibilities pertaining to planning, administration, recruitment and provision of the necessary support services for the medical team in the interest of realizing the goals given to PSCC by the wise leadership of this country.
